Revamped passing since final update

Anybody feel like revamped passing took a hit since that final update that finally fixed the option pitch? I’m a run first guy so it’s taken a few seasons to notice but I feel like my skill is the same but my qbs are really struggling and throwing a ton more picks. I used to use placement and accuracy so I recently tried it in an offline game and it seemed better. I know there are fans of both so this is NOT w post about one vs the other. But does anyone else think revamped passing got tweaked for the worse in the last update.

I absolutely think they nerfed it. I went from being able to have those awesome layered throws where you could really nail a spot between defenders, to those just not making it there anymore. It feels like Madden has for years, you just have hold out for the WIDE OPEN guy that breaks away from a defender. Feels like it lost authenticity. I really enjoyed the revamped passing prior to that. It felt so fresh. I was making throws I never dreamed of in Madden. Seeing unique catch animations. I think part of it is that maybe they made the CPU defense better, too? Or at least, it seems like they started reacting when the ball was in the air WAY faster so I started seeing more picks and deflections, and a lot of passes being undercut by guys who didn't seem like they were in a proper position to do so. (Also, it seems to be the SAME swat animation every single time..)

To me, revamped was perfect in the initial release. It got worse as time went on.

Yeah definitely seeing more deflections. I’m sticking with it bc once again I played with placement and accuracy just to test and get horrific red throws waaay off randomly. So at least w revamped that doesn’t happen. Back to ground and pound and try not to get picked when I throw w revamped
