Thinking of purchasing NHL 15 for PS4

There is no way to invite friends directly to you game on PS4/Xbox One. You all have to press "search" at the same time and hope that you wind up in the same game, which isn't very reliable.

Even if you're lucky enough to get everyone inside the same game room, there will still be major input lag during gameplay that makes OTP pretty much unplayable on PS4.

So I don't recommend getting the PS4 version if you want to play OTP. Just stick with the PS3 version.

EA also removed the ability to take local guests with you into online versus games on PS4/Xbox One. So if you have friends at your house, you can only play against each other or against the CPU.

I've thought about getting it too. I saw it was $35.99 on the PS4 flash sale and Sony also gave me a $10 coupon that expires on 12/29/14 which would make it $25.99.

Would really suggest a rental if possible, first. Read around these forums and you will see why. Well over half of the people responding to a poll here either regretted purchasing NHL 15 or simply no longer play it. You can find it used for $20 or under if you still want to buy it.
