Madden 17 Trade Proposals and Approvals

This thread is where you will post all trade agreements between you and another user. It should be noted that once a trade is posted here, it will be final. This means that barring a denial, you may not back out of the trade or attempt to negotiate a trade with a different owner for the same player. So please be sure to communicate with each other thoroughly before posting the trade in this thread for our approval.

We will have a trade committee that will review these trades as they get posted. The committee will be completely anonymous. This is to cut back on guys sending 100 Pms about a trade. Just post here and when we review the trade we will quote it and let you know what we decided.

When posting your trades, please use the following format...

Atlanta Sends:

Chiefs Send:
S Sanders Commings

Falcons shed some age in their WR corps for a lil young blood and much needed help on defense. The Falcons have good depth at WR to take a hit while Commings was the backup in KC. (the reasoning is required. This is where you can state your case to why you think this is a fair trade for both parties involved.)

**QUICK MESSAGE: Any new league member will not be allowed to trade star players until they have been in the league for a minimum of 2 seasons. Even when this 2 season mark is hit, it will still be difficult to deal some guys unless you are getting a ton and probably more than he is worth in return. Example, GB deals Aaron Rodgers, he needs to get a ton in return for it to even be considered, and even in this case, the trade could still be declined due to unrealism. We are trying to keep star players on teams because when say the GB guy leaves, no one will want GB without Aaron Rodgers. These players will be listed as *franchise players* and CAN change each season.

Section 1. No member is permitted to trade with the CPU

Section 2. Each member is allotted ONE trade in-season and TWO trades in the off-season (We will allow an additional trade for the 1st season, so 2 in season for year 1.)
*”In-season” is from the beginning of preseason until the Super Bowl
*”Off-season” is from post Super Bowl until the advance to the new season

Section 3. Players who can’t be traded:
Rookies
Players in the 1st year of their contract. (This eliminates sign & trade situations)

Section 4. If you are not able to make a draft, please let a commissioner know. You will be able to trade your draft picks for players (if you haven’t reached the 2 trade limit) or future picks. This is to avoid the CPU possibly wasting the value of your draft picks.

Section 5. All trades must be APPROVED by the trade committee.

Section 6. Members submit their trades by posting in the “trade thread” on os with all the pertinent information with a link/s to the player attributes on Daddyleague. Users can also add comments with their reasoning for doing the trade if they think it will help it get approved. Once a trade is posted, it can be edited if both parties agree, but it can NOT be withdrawn.

- Also trading of strictly draft picks WILL NOT count towards a trade limit unless a player is involved. So say I deal my 1st round pick for a 2nd and 3rd round pick. Thats fine. However if I send my 1st round Pick for RG3 then that will count towards your trade limit.

49ers:

2017 1st round pick

The 49ers are looking to upgrade their secondary. Rhodes has only 2 years left on his and the Vikings have multiple big names becoming free agents when Rhodes' contract expires. Vikings will spend their cap space on those players meaning they won't be able to retain Rhodes' services. Vikings also have depth at CB.

Reasoning: Cowboys have a ton of good LBs and Jaylon Smith who we want to develop as the Starter at MLB. We are thin at corner. Getting PJ Will give us someone to develop, and the 4th Round pick gives us a chance to add depth later on in the year.

Chiefs are moving to a 4-3 defense, both Ford and Nicolas are too small to move to DE and therefore don't fit new scheme.

Falcons need a veteran pass rusher for the upcoming year and Harrison fills that void. Pittsburgh gets a mid round pick for a guy who would never see the field.
