I could see it being a coach this year if that defines it as “different”. With the focus on CFM this year, presumably. But could also see the concept of multiple players on it again

I saw somewhere that Brad and Mahomes were doing something together for Madden 22. Maybe a duel cover athlete, or different people for different systems like 2k does.

I do remember seeing a picture, post superbowl by someone behind a fence, showing Brady and Mahomes in full uniform in a white tent. I think that is where that rumor stems from. I'll see if I can find it
