Madden 13: The foundation to Excitement - Dynamic History for the future Madden's

HISTORY.

It is what builds NFL anticipation and excitement! The Manning vs Brady, the IceBowl, "The Drive", Legendary players etched in NFL film history, Hall of Fame, players playing through the pain, the hype of the 1st round draft pick, Tom Brady as 6th round 199th pick becomes a legend. This History of the NFL is what makes it so great.

DYNAMIC.

What I mean by dynamic is not static. the same. anticipation and adaption. from game to game commentators remark and comment on where the team is this year, how the rookies are doing in thier opinion. Dynamic, meaning from game to game what changes, injuries to key players and whom is replacing them, talk about the setup or down of rookies.

Madden 12 hinted at understanding the franchise mode needed to have a string of history. The superbowl cut scenes attempted a historical moment, though it fell flat as you started the next year. The draft didn't build anticipation. the commentary didn't mention or talk what teams might pick and why. No shots of the Commish 'opening the draft' or anything of speculation on teams from the commentary. no crowd noises, nothing. The draft of Madden has hinted in the past of adding excitement but commentary and feels wasn't there. Here are hopes for the future.

THE DRAFT

If madden was to implement the day 1 draft to look like this between 1:47 & 2:00 that would make history! the crowd is cheering or booing (crazy NFL fans you know?) the commish announcing, the player on stage getting his hat and jersey and shaking the commishs hand.

NOTE: the commentators talk of what surrounds this young QB. "he no has Joe Thomas, the Wisconsin Tackle, blocking. . ." a talk of the previous pick for the team.

HISTORY. the building or speculation of a team from different talking heads makes it fun. The feel of a NFL team and its drive sometimes comes from the media's lack of respect to a team or overhype. 'the underdog' scenario'.

Imagine a draft with Mel Kiper like commentary, the look of the draft day and the first say 10 picks with the commish announcing, crowd cheering or booing, commentators hype talking or speculating whom the 1st pick will be and why. the pick is made and the cheering and lights going off and the player on stage shaking the commishs hand and a commentator talking about the team his is entering into and his role of speculation.
