OK, this is really just a heads up on whats coming down the line here relatively soon. I have been meaning to put this up for a while now, and I should have it finished pretty soon. Those of you who know me here at OS, and a few of you that follow me on twitter already are aware of the issues i have been going through with Microsoft and Xbox LIVE.

My long time XBOX LIVE account was hacked several months ago (more than 6 to be exact) for the SECOND time! My next blog entry will detail everything that has happened up to now, including what the guy did, how Microsoft has handled it, and everything in between. Maybe some of you that have experienced this yourself can chime in as well.

I look forward to telling my story to all of you, because i feel it needs to be told so that somehow it may hopefully help someone else down the road. Who knows....

And Steve i know we have talked about this, so thanks for the help in advance

Thanks guys, i will def keep you updated and just as an FYI.... M$ has done jack **** to this point. I am am however using a temp GT in order to keep gaming for now. Until the next update

sorry to hear this is still going on. This is the reason i no longer play on xbox or have an account with them. i was hacked in 2009 and my call to support on this, i was bascially yelled at stating i must have gave my username and password out over a forum on online somewhere. a little background, i work in the IT support field as a network admin, so i know to not give my info out. so they 'watched' account and told me id have my account refunded and extended for however long it was down while hacker used it. their database (xbox live users) got hacked and about 500 users were hit during same time i got hacked. came across web site where a bunch of users had same story. so it sounds like they are still getting account database hacked. M$ is trash.
sorry for the rant, still pissed at them and its been almost 2 years.

Yeah, they were telling me the same crap saying i must have given out my info...ect. They obviously have a major security issue since i have been hearing it happen to many people. Interestingly enough they are a software company, and this is MS....you would think they would have much better security control over their service. And hey rant all you want, doesn't bother me one bit lol
