- The final game of the series will see R.A. Dickey take the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays against canadian pitcher Ryan Dempster
- Manager John Gibbons announced that J.P. Arencibia would have the day off tomorrow and veteran catcher Henry Blanco will be catching Dickey.
- J.P. Arencibia missed hitting the tying homerun in the bottom of the ninth by a few feet. Instead, the ball was caught on the warning track for the final out of the ballgame.
