Big 12 Tournament Results

Facing rival Oklahoma St. in the Big 12 tournament, the Oklahoma Sooners were confident in winning, and it held true to form as the Sooners defeated the Pokes for the third time this year 66-53 in the second round of the Big 12 tournament.

Big 12 Semifinals:

Oklahoma 66
Baylor 60

Big 12 Finals:
Oklahoma 85
Texas 81

The Sooners squeak by rival Texas in the Big 12 tourney finals and attain an automatic NCAA birth for the 2008-2009 season. Texas held a marginal lead for most of the game until Blake Griffin took over and had 30 points and 11 boards to lead the Sooners. The Sooners draw a number one seed and face sixteen seed Radford on Thursday to start the dream of a national title.
