In what is supposedly the completely revamped presentation of NCAA Football, it appears there's a new mistake or oversight to add to the list from promotional screenshots.
In a recently released screenshot of the Oklahoma and Texas game, the end zones are actually marked incorrectly in relation to the crowd in screenshots released on April 30, 2013. In the real game in the Cotton Bowl, the end zones actually line up with the crowd so the Oklahoma end zone is on the Oklahoma side and the Texas end zone on the Texas side.
A fellow OU fan and NCAA Football player saw the screenshot and pointed it out to me the instant he saw it on Facebook -- it's a small detail but yet another sign that attention to detail might not be the strong suit of this year's game.
For a company wanting to promote a true NCAA Football experience, this is the second such presentation gaffe (the generic Oregon players being the first) that we've pointed out here that is a painfully obvious oversight.
What other realism gaffes have you guys found in pre-release screenshots?

They are about 5 or 6 years behind on Ohio Stadium as well... EA is a joke!

Are the sidelines a 10 year running gaffe? They focus on what they focus on. For right or wrong. Just have to accept it. Cause ain't no competition for my dollar.

It's a bit harsh to nit pick on details like this. If EA have corrected the more fundamental flaws of the game then I'll happily forgive these minor discrepancies.

The reason why I'm ok with this nitpick is because if I'm an artist or whoever is overseeing the making of these fields I match it up with a real screenshot because I want it to look the same as real life. To me this shows they don't really care when it is something so simple.

Im from Texas and never noticed that in reality on the actual field. Guess I was too busy watching the actual plays instead of the field, but on an more important note, Shaq's jersey was retired backwards. In reality.

If the small things aren't done correctly it's not a good sign for the big things in the game.
I want to see these "mutual" site games also.

Well I for one am glad they are calling out this game.... EA's laziness has gone far too long without respectable sites like OS calling them out for it. Good job and keep calling them out IMHO

Really hope they have the University of Washington's new stadium in the game. Been waiting years to play without the stupid track.
