In my Battle of the Bands blog entry I wrote about how I was torn between buying Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero: World Tour.

After talking to a few people and a little more research I ended up buying Rock Band 2 from Toys R Us for $110 with a $25 gift card included.

It just so happened that I needed a $25 gift card from TRU for my nephew's birthday present so the RB2 bundle only set me back a net of $85.

Not bad if I do say so myself.

I also picked up the Fender Bass replica ($69) and double cymbal expansion pack ($29):

Everything will get christened on Christmas Eve while the whole family is over for the holidays.

Here's hoping to a fun-filled, rocked-out Christmas holiday!
