A New Era for San Diego State

San Diego State decided to go in a new direction this year and release Brady Hoke from his obligations as Head Coach. In to take his place is the up and coming Sean Bennett, a former Offensive Coordinator from FCS University of San Diego.

As his first order of business, Coach Bennett has put in place a more diverse defensive system favoring the use of multiple formations rather than the 3-3-5 used in the past. It will be interesting to see how this plays out seeing as many don't see SDSU as having the personnel for such a diverse system.

Hopefully, Coach Bennett and Ryan Lindley can work together to lead SDSU to a successful season in the new coach's first year.
