If any of these links interest you, talk about them.QOTD: Are "Trophy Points" or "Achievements" important to you at all?

QOTD: No. I never play specifically to get achievements. For example, I'm an 8th prestige in MW2 but I have zero achievements because I have zero interest in MW2's campaign or Spec Ops.

That catch was pretty good, especially how well he timed his climb up the wall.

QOTD: Not really. NBA 2k is about the only game I ever set out to get achievements for.

LMAO. That kid had a good day at the X Games.

QOTD: I have mixed feelings on achievemnents/trophies. Good in that they get could get me to try and enjoy parts or modes of games I might have skipped. Bad in that focusing on them can take away from just enjoying a game.
I still like seeing them pop up on the 360. On the PS3 I decided to ignore trophies and just play the games.
A game (with a story) completion to me is not 100% acheivement or trophies. It's finishing the story on any difficulty (usually medium for me). They should tally that along with achievements/trophies.

QOTD: I focus on achievements after I have completed/beat the game but I am not heartbroken if i dont have 100% achievements on each game.

QOTD: Usually I have no idea what the trophy I unlocked even means...I always have to go look it up after winning it.

# 7 JohnnytheSkin @ Aug 5
QOTD: Not really. I like the ones that unlock as you progress through a game, or ones that are plain "fun" (like the Lego games where you kill Harry as Voldemort, etc). Otherwise, many of them seem like a chore and I use gaming for relaxation and not as a crazy completionist.

Great, the Texans have the toughest schedule - like we needed that LOL!

QOTD: Achievements are not a big deal to me, but some games I will try to get them while learning the game - for example, one game I do this always in NBA2K. While learning controls and the new gameplay changes, tweaks or whatever - I will use a team like the Lakers or whatever and play around, while doing so unlock an achievement using Kobe and dropping 30 or whatever the challenge is.

That catch was amazing.

QOTD: I have yet to care about achievements in any game that I have played.

Aww where's my happy birthday? (18)
QOTD: Use to, not anymore.

Gotcha wrigley, you must have updated your birthdate after I posted.

QOTD: I don't usually care about achievements. However with NCAA Football 11, I want to try and get all of the playbook related achievements. I think they are a good idea.

# 13 ferriscj24 @ Aug 7
QOTD: I don't lose any sleep over them, but I actually do enjoy getting them. Once in a while I will find myself trying to get them. So I guess, yeah, I like them.
