Could Johnny Peralta's in Cleveland be numbered?
Sources say yes.
Could Jhonny Peralta get traded in August. That is the question that is beginning to take form in Cleveland. It's no secret that the Indians were shopping there thirdbaseman at the deadline but they did not find what they were looking for. Here in August though as we are getting ready to head into September the window is closing for a trade but things are getting busy on the front. Runors have it that both the Tampa Bay Rays and the L.A. Angels are the frontrunners if a deal is struck with both teams having what the Indians want young relief pitching. If Peralta is traded that would open the door for Andy Marte again who was the starting thirdbaseman when peralta tore his shoulder earlier this year and Marte has performed very well. He may only have the job for a year or so because Lonnie Chisenhall is tearing it up in AAA. Stay tuned for more news or this developing story and more on the Cleveland Indians.
