The Sunbelt Conference is being replaced by the NCAA. The president of the NCAA has yet to comment on the situation, but many speculate the change is due to lack of competition. Others believe this is all about money. Regardless of the reason why, the Sunbelt Conference has been replaced with a Division III conference, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
The ODAC has added four additional schools into their conference: Christopher Newport, Cabrini, Williams and Virginia Wesleyan.
Here is the conference outlook for the ODAC:
(1) Randolph-Macon College Yellowjackets
(2) Bridgewater Eagles
(3) Hampden-Sydney Tigers
(4) Emory & Henry Wasps
(5) Shenandoah Hornets
(6) Christopher Newport Captains
(7) Virginia Wesleyan Marlins
(8) Williams College Ephs
(9) Washington & Lee Generals
(10) Catholic Cardinals
(11) Cabrini Cavaliers
(12) Guilford Quakers
