Angels Break Slump, Defeat Jays. Stuck

Maicer Izturis hit a run scoring single in top of the 10 inning of off Scott Downs to lead the Angels to a 7-6 win over the host Blue Jays. The win snapped the Angels 4 game skid and improved their record to 6-6.

Matt Palmer pitched 3 2/3 innings in relief to earn his first win of the season. Scott Downs record dropped to (0-1). Juan Rivera remained hot for the Angels hitting a 3 run home in the first inning. It was his 3rd of the season.

The 3 game series wraps up tomorrow in Toronto at 1:05 PM local time.

I could not get Hill out. And the bastage hit a 3 run bomb off me.

Hill is a beast. I play for the Jays and play every other game and the dude is hitting .410. Ridiculous! BTW, I couldn't stop the Angels when I played this series.
