If only we could get this thing off a handheld and onto Live Arcade or the Virtual Console, it would be sports GOTY, easy.

I fired up a game of Tecmo Super Bowl III for the SNES to celebrate.

Final score:

Houston Oilers - 70
Jacksonville Jaguars - 21

Gary Brown - 100+ yards rushing

Jeff Blake (traded for him to get rid of Chris Chandler) - 300+ yards passing

Webster Slaughter - 150+ yards receiving

Ray Childress - 10 tackles, 7 sacks

both teams: a combined 8 fumbles.


Good times. Can't wait to play this game against live opponents again.

it's going to be AWESOME online as long as people don't edit their teams to have all 100-rated players (which looks like is possible)
