They also don't have buttons over there head in real life. You don't go blind when you drop back that far you can still see your receivers.

Cone passing! I want back.

half the time i throw the ball to the sideline they wouldn't even need a toe drag animation, just a normal catch would do, but the animation they do ends up taking them out of bounds.

nobody else noticed this?
Oh ho ho, you are not alone, my friend. I'm having a bitch of a time getting my tight ends to stay in bounds. I'm also seeing the dropped passes issue. For the sideline issue, the fix was the throw the ball really early, but I don't like this. My guys should have the intelligence to stay in bounds. There is no reason for guys to run out of bounds that way. I mean, I'm pulling and dragging and doing everything in my power, but these guys want to run out of bounds so very badly, that they cannot be convinced otherwise.

With the dropped passes, there are two solutions:
1) Do NOT press ANYTHING until your man secures the ball. Don't run before you catch it.

2)Take complete control of your reciever EARLY, and manage their position.

Guess so=squish like grape.

I'm definitely getting it, because the Giants won the superbowl, and on principle I have to have it. I can see that they've made a lot of changes. This feels night and day from Madden 07 on the 360, and that's good. I hope everything comes together for the final release since I'm getting it either way.

The graphics are nice but I do not play games simply for graphics.

For the sake of people buying this game I hope the dropped passes issue was just in the demo and not going to be this year's "turnover bug" but I won't hold my breath for that.

Oh and that was perhaps the worst demo ever released. Lame training thing (the madden iq stuff is ******** but fits in perfectly with EA) and then a whopping 90 seconds of offense? sheesh.

I'm 30 so maybe by the time I die EA will actually release a decent playing realistic and FUN football game. I figure I will probably live for a long time so they have decades to actually do something right for a change.

Totally Agree.. Another year of the same ole BS. I'm also up there in age as well, 33. So im just hoping for EA to step up their game and make a realistic football game for once. Getting tired of their kiddie games.

Nope, they just hid it better. They only let you have 1 drive. NO defense. Just 1 drive with only a few plays. You honestly cannot get a good feel of the game like that. I have no idea why they dont allow you to play defense.

Just wait until its released and you will see tons of posts with, this is the same BS as last year and i was tricked again. lol

I still cant get over them not letting me play defense.

It is a demo and not a final build.

Can anyone comment who has the final build about the drops and other issues?

Man, 2 each his own....you don't like the graphics, so be it. But don't tell me that what Im seeing is wrong. I played this, versus 08, 07 back to back. NO CONTEST. The field and lighting alone are waaaay better. Please!!!! And Im just talking graphics. get outta here with that.

Played the demo last night.

I havent played Madden in a few years but It felt just like the last time i played with a few more animations.

The Sidelines are AWFUL.
