thanks.....i knew he wasn't AA but didn't know specifically what nationality he was

regardless,......here's a pic mike

also...he has a dark tinted face shield

and another general observation....it seems a lot of the QB's in the game could have a little more waist/torso added to them----with the jersey's all being very tight & tucked in, it creates that illusion of having 'skinny' torso/mid sections.

Darnell Dockett...he looks like Casey Hampton in Madden 09 and that is just wrong on so many levels.

Aaron Rodgers is too skinny. Especially his arms.

This explains a lot. Is this how you all used to do it or are you all still using this method?

I'd imagine you'd need 12 or so types per position to have models begin to resemble their real life counterparts... tall/slim, tall/medium, tall/muscular, tall/fat, short/slim...

Randy Moss & Steve Smith play the same position & couldn't look more different. Jeff Garcia & JaMarcus Russell shouldn't be cut from the same mold either.

I won't mention any specific players as I feel 95% of them need work.

Re: Tuning Individual Characters

My biggest gripe with some players models are the legs. Specially the calves, they are too skinny. Thighs in some running backs and wrs aren't big enough either.

But no matter how similar you make the body it won't be noticeable if you don't let us modify the sock height just like Ncaa.

It would make a huge difference, As it now it just looks odd and weird. There is no depth on the sock. It looks like a 2 color long sock and make players look like clowns.

So I'm begging you!! Please let us customize the sock height.

Fitz uses low socks

Desean uses high socks

Asante uses medium socks

And colored shoes too!!

Re: Madden NFL 10: Tuning Individual Characters

In general Michael, I still think many Madden models are too short and stocky. Especially skill guys or DB's. I'd like to see some more length, height, etc. Not everybody is a stocky fireplug in the NFL. Players like Urlacher really don't have giant biceps. I guess in one word the players need to look more ATHLETIC.

I know as a fan when one of your favorite players is wrong it can take you out of the experience.

So the question to you is: Which players need the most work? Please give specifics. On the flip side are there any players you wouldn't touch?

Thanks as always,

Mike Y
Michael, in regards to the character depiction subject, to what degree is it possible to replicate the faces in conjunction with the real players?
