For me its the opposite. when i play games like GTA i have to listen to the game. I turn off music whenver i am in a car even. When i play sports games, i play with music on tv down. Doesnt matter what game. All Pro Football, Fifa, NBA2K or MLB2K.

Beside the bat sounds and the jerky / robotic animations, the game looks damn good.. Things could be patched to a certain degree anyway.

Ball seems like it's coming of the bat legitimately. Even noticed it in Pujols pop-out.

Immerison is huuuuge in a baseball game for me ...It's such a rewarding feeling when you make that contact with the bat and you know you connected as soon as you hit it....right now that feel is not present in 2k's game...why?? bat sounds.....

it's not just the sound it's affecting, it's affecting the whole hitting feel, u lose the visceral aspect of hitting experience....

Seriously though.. the game looks good. Y'all see how the batters snap into their stances though ? I don't really care about it. It just looks weird. Honestly, it's more than I expected. I give 2K Sports credit. SCEA is one mean mutha to compete against in the baseball video game arena, but it looks like 2K found a solid foundation to build on at least. They need to smack the animation crew though.
