Re: Madden NFL 10: Tuning Individual Characters

I logged this with Ian last year but just to be safe again I want to point out something about the Steelers Uniform(Thats been wrong in the game)

1. Single numbered players should have their number placed in the middle of the yellow stripes on their helmet...as you can see on Roethlisberger's Helmet

2. The little white area below the numbers on the back of the helmet should be white.....In Madden 09(and madden for years) The word "Steelers" has been there in Gold....it shouldn't be there

I won't post any more uniform corrections....in fact I probably shouldn't have posted this one...those probably need a thread of their own...I didn't just derail the main purpose of the thread

The helmets need to be updated big time, especially the Revo ones. This has always been pain in the a$$. I would love to open Madden 10 and be able to play a game without having to go in and change all of the players helmets/facemasks to what they are in real life. If one general thing needs to be fixed, it's that. All the other accessories are much harder to do because most players change those on a game to game basis but helmets should be easy. Especially the big name players. Adrian Peterson's helmet isn't right and he was shown in a Gamestop commercial last year. That's just embarrassing. Madden is supposed to be THE football video game and they can't even get a star player to look like himself.

Re: Madden NFL 10: Tuning Individual Characters

Some of these may have been listed already, but I didn't feel like re-reading every post to see.

Bears.

First off the standard shoe should be black.

Orton-Revolution Helmet. He only wore the standard helmet his first NFL Season, and wore the Revolution helmet in college, and wears it now. Pic: http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...o&confirm=true

Adrian Peterson-Dreds in reality they are so long they cover his name plate up

Hester- Wears Orange Gloves
http://bowennation.blogspot.com/2008...in-sports.html

Olsen- Is always wearing white long sleeves in the game even in warm games. He doesn't hardly ever wear these only in extreme cold below 20 degrees. Should have hair that extends below the helmet.

Dvoracek- Looks like a fat blob in the game. In reality he should be shaped more like Tommie Harris with a barrel chest, and fairly thin waste Should also have longer hair
pic: http://www.daylife.com/photo/01ms1M3g1w3S5

Urlacher- Wears the wrong face mask in the game isn't the bull style with the little u shaped piece on the top, and doesn't have the straight bars on each side. No Tattoo which is a biggie. Shoes should be Orange and black. Can cycle thru the pics on this site of him to see what i'm saying a real good closeup of his facemask, and of his shoes are in here.

Tillman- No longer has Dreds

Mike Brown- If he's still on the bears for next season he should also have black and orange shoes.

Just some of the major flaws I see with the eye candy. Probably more subtle ones with different wristbands, and what-not, but those aren't as noticeable for me at least.

1) Mike Brown in Madden 09 has dark skin, and in real life it is much lighter.
2) Kyle Orton has never worn "tight" sleeves. He always wears them lose.
3) Oline Kruetz is also the wrong shade, he is to dark in Madden 09.
4) Urlacher's shoulders are too wide in my opinion. And . you guys don't have his tattoo
5) The Bears default away uniform should be all white. They wore that combination all year during away games.
6) The Bears defense does not wear sleeves in the cold, AT ALL. The coldest game EVER in soldier field (as pictured in number 6) shows two players not wearing sleeves. The players make a big deal out of it, and in franchise when its cold in madden 09 a lot of players are wearing sleeves.
Lol, send EA your Bears themed bedsheets for the proper alterations.

My biggest issue with that post is not having the all whites.

I think Jay Culter (Denver Broncos) is wayyy too skinny in Madden 09. In reality Jay is solid and around 230 or 240 pounds ..

one thing that bothers me is the, way the o-line and the qb always come out of a huddle and walk back to the line of scrimmage like robots. i remember that in 2k5 they walked more casually and also the lineman weren't always standing in a perfect stance but sometimes were a little off, like in reality.

i'd also like to finally see tattoos, they've been in the nba games for while why not in madden and since alot of nfl players are tattoed they should be in the game and their should be a tattoo option for created players.
