For the guys repeating themselves, find something else to do. Do yourself (and us) a favor and delete the demo and move on and find something productive to do. Either that or put all your posts in one. Posting 43 different times how the CPU won't do this, so and so looks stupid and the controller won't work when upside down is a disgrace to baseball gaming is getting old.

This has to be one of the worst impressions thread in OS history and it isn't because of the game.
Thank you!

I suggest everyone takes what Pared says to heart. Infractions will start being handed out if people can not stop repeating the same stuff over and over.

I mean seriously. I have seen some people posting almost exactly the same thing over and over again. Are you just hoping to reach a new batch of people to get under their skin?

If you don't like the game, that's perfectly fine. Say your piece and move on. Its really quite simple. If it angers you that much, then write Visual Concepts, 2K sports, Take Two Interactive or, your freakin congressmen, Just don't go on and on about it here.

Thanks.

1. My posts don't duplicate themselves.
2. They're valid points. I don't care how easy the mode is, Scott Kazmir shouldn't be hitting 7 for 11, period. Especially when the opposing pitcher has a 1.08 WHIP.
3. The fact that there's almost no battle in the hitter/pitcher interface is criminal. Every AB has been a 1-3 pitch affair on both sides, and by the way, that was the problem in previous MLB 2K games. The fielding is dreadful, as is the baserunning. People are already talking about using sliders to "fix" the game - which means default is worthless.
4. A lot of people have the same issues. Saying we don't doesn't make them go away.

No ****. I come to this website quite often because there are a good amount of knowledgeable people here. I like to read the impressions of people I recognize from being around here, but holy **** is this thread obnoxious. What a bunch of babies.

Moving on. I like the demo, but I also liked the game last year, for the most part. if they fixed the stuttering issue and the stealing issue, I'm happy. I'm not quite as up in arms over the CPU swinging at all balls in the zone and none outside issue, but I have noticed it. I think there were sliders for this type of thing last year so I'm sure it can be tweaked. I'll live. I will also switch back to last years controls most likely. I liked the pitching and batting the way they were. Overall, judging from the demo, this game will be as I had expcted, a better version of 2K8, which is a positive in my eyes.

Along with the in-game saves, this is a day one buy.

Re: Major League Baseball 2K9 Demo Available, Post Your Impressions Here

I gave a demo impression earlier in the day, however, after several more games of playing I want to point out 2 important things with regard to the visuals.

- For those of you playing this game in 1080p on your hdtv, the game looks much better with regard to animations, frame rate, and overall visuals when played in 720p (tried it on The Show a few weeks back and decided to do it to this game as well and it improved my experience big time)

- The clould movement in this game is revolutionary, those of us that played VC's NFL 2K5 will notice that we have not seen anything like this on any game since then, as this effect changes the lighting of the game constantly along with the shadows as if it were a dynamic lighting effect, most clouds are just a painted back drop in other games. If you pay attention to Gary Thorne, he will ACTUALLY POINT OUT WHEN THE SUN IS TRYING TO POP IN AND OUT WITH VARIOUS SUN LIGHT THROUGHOUT THE GAME.

Constructive Criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one.
Constructive Criticism is welcome here.

Trolling and incessant game bashing without being constructive is not, and will not be tolerated.

nobody said there wasn't issues, i agree there are probably more issues then everybody has found so far, but you say it countless times which is why i said say it once and move on to something else if you post again and its an impression i am cool with that i don't have an issue with people saying there is issues with the game or they don't like the game not everybody will like the game but the demo is just that a demo, tell us your thoughts we will read it(hopefully only once) and then read what the next person has to say. as i have stated i know this is an impression thread and not a praise mlb 2k9 thread, and i do like to hear the bad with the good, just not the same thing over and over from the same person again and again
