Re: Fight Night Round 4 Demo Impressions

Well, at 2:03 EST I tried the code and it DID NOT work. I rebooted the 360, tried it again and it still DID NOT work.

As I've stated before TPC Sucks IMO ... but it can be saved ... if instead of 3 O'Clock - 9 O'Clock, 5 O'Clock 7 O'Clock being hooks and Uppercuts to the body they were to the head and we could use the Body Modifier button to throw body shots problem solved!!!!

Just an Idea!!!

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Demo Impressions

How can people here who have played the demo enjoy this garbage

its been 4 years and this is what we get

I feel the focused on accuracy of punches and angles and all that but forgot about the actual gameplay.....this game is so bad, its quicly approaching prizefighter status.....at least those punches "looked" like they hurt, this engine already i can tell is built for u to brawl it out, Ufc ****s on this game so bad its not even funny, the animations are wonky and off, the punches look like pushes not punches

damn ea yall suck son

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Demo Impressions

well after watching videos from the demo, I'm too not impressed to much, from the vids fro pastaparde, the game looks like a slug fest, once again it doesn't look like it takes any skill, and I can just imagine online is going to be.

This was a first day purchase for me, now it's a maybe.

Maybe because as the cam moves so does the direction you have to move your Boxer (i.e. Back isn't always Back) ... I don't have a problem with the amount of punches thrown but I do think the Boxers stamina should decrease faster (Hatton & Pac Man have thrown more than a 100 punches in a round before ... Not EVERY Round thou) ... My only grip, an unfortunate game killer IMO, is the Total Punch Control CRAP ... TOTAL Control my BUTT ... How does making Street Fighter Fireballs = HOOKS give me more control than having each BUTTON control the Boxers hands ... I was hoping the Button thing would ONLY be exclude from Ranked online matches ... that would just prevent me from playing online. WHY take away buttons? If I pay $60 for a game and I want to use the buttons let me its MY GAME. I still hold FNR3 tourney's with friends and other who think they are good and the TPC is rarely used. Out of the 40+ tourney’s I've held, 19 of which had 32 participants, the rest just had 16, I've only met 15 to 20 people that actually use that crap and NONE of them won. So unless they add the buttons back I see no reason to buy a Boxing game that I can throw punches in. Yes TPC is learnable but its is to flawed … Maybe change the name to Estimated Punch Control … I don’t think any REAL boxer EVER tried to throw an uppercut but threw a Hook or body blow instead … EVER!! Of course with practice people will get better but in the heat of a close fight … fingers flying … Hooks will turn to body blows … Uppercuts to Hooks for even the most experienced Button Pusher No I’m sorry I mean THUMB THIRWLER.

Always Pushin…
Buttons … just not in FNR4 LoL
I figured that would be how it went. The people that didnt care for it last time around aren't gonna care for it this time. It's still a rental for me. So, I want complain if it's not worth it. $10 is better than $60.

Your constant bad mouthing of the game just to do it gives you ZERO credibility.
That being said I'm not liking what I'm hearing.

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Demo Impressions

What is embarrassing are the jocksniffers that don't understand that TPC is NOT realistic. Every single punch thrown in real life requires the same amount of energy and effort. TPC removes that basic, common sense principle and does not make every punch equal to pull off.
