What is going on? Keep having where my CB, Jonathan Joseph keeps being offsides on plays. Can't take control of him to even get him back manually. Gave up two in a row, a total of 4 on the drive. Pats are driving to tie or win, it just blew the game for me! Seen some good things so far, but this is not cool...

This was an issue before the patch.

I may need to see a larger sample, but I still see receivers only releasing inside the vast majority of the time, and my defender's reacting to flat, slants, and drags, sporadically at best.

On the plus side, my kickoff coverage seems better, the run blocking is noticeably more logical, fatigue is better, and I am able to control my DL's better.

Gonna brief, I loved the game before patch and it feels even more refined after the patch. This year I have ignored all gripe threads (mostly every thread) to find my own gripes; happy to say I have nothing that stands out. Love the game this year.

I actually saw a d-lineman (Ratliff) get injured. Only for a qtr but first time I seen a injury on d/o line.

I'm a realism nut. And for my limited stick-skills, the game's playing great for me after the patch with:
  • 13-minute Q's, 15 second runoff (I eat a lot of clock b/c I make a ton of pre-snap adjustments)
  • All-Pro default for HUM and CPU
  • Slight special teams tweaks (punt accuracy increase)
  • Slight sub in/out tweaks (to account for new, good fatigue)
  • Maxed-out penalties (except holding, clipping)
NOTE -- NOT turning this into a slider conversation...just sharing my general setup. Now -- impressions.

PERHAPS there's a few too many INTs and penalties and too many CPU sacks....watching this closely. But with my NYG franchise, the game is otherwise playing very realistic, very fun. Jacobs is a beast, but is suitably contained against teams that can stop the run. Eli throws fairly inaccurately from time to time (sad, but accurate). I'm getting sacks and creating pressure with Osi and Tuck by flicking the right stick.

It's not perfect, but it's a videogame so I'm not stressed out about it. For me, it's a vast improvement with the patch. I hope patch #2 comes soon so I can start my "official franchise."

Good stuff, EA. (Don't fret about sales, you're on the right path by reaching out to the core enthusiasts...economy and last year's clunker is probably the main contributors.)

I noticed:

7 min. quarters online: AWESOME!

Improved pursuit: AWESOME

Improved run game - less chaotic... smoother.

Sideline animations: AWESOME!

I think there's one word that describes the game this year... you can guess what I'd say.

Honestly M10 has so many things I've always wanted in a football game. I got way more than I bargained for this year. They really nailed my wants as a consumer.

Yes, true. But earlier in the thread someone posted that all incomplete passes stopped the clock. I was just going to post to inform them that it indeed has not been fixed.
