at least ronnie2k said the patch is concentrated on gameplay. Let's just hope the super passive defensemen A.I is fixed. If that's taken care of, all the rest will be icing on the cake.

I have a feeling that it's likely to come out before December/January.

We have plans to release the list of fixes along with the release of the patch, we have to make sure that the items we are claiming to fix are indeed fixed. Releasing the list ahead of time could cause issues if certain changes have to be reverted or we make more changes, in turn forcing us to continually release revised lists.

If the patch comes out that late then I will hardly have time get through a few seasons of my franchise.

I hope Shadow is right. I can't wait until January for the patch. By that time if it is not released I will trade the game in.

Well duhh I realize that wouldn't be the only thing that they address but I do find it odd that the first piece of information about the patch was posted in some random thread over at 2khockey.net.

But believe me, if it means they have fixed all of the other stuff AND are gonna do minor stuff like the sweep stick collision, then by all means, may they take all the time that they need.

In case you didn't notice the gameplay comment was based on NBA 2K, not NHL.
