Great, thanks. I didn't know Ian had stated this; it also explains why he's been scarce here unlike last year.

Ok, if it's definitely in the game, then my optimism is slightly lifted.

Went back to see if they fixed the tech vids and they were. The middle and right animations were added that they had mentioned but failed to show earlier. Nothing wowing but it just gives a better sense of what the heck they were talking about. Lol

Now, I am not exactly a tiny person standing around 6'2" and for me to make a stride that long I would need to pretty much take a running leap. Even when an athlete hits top speed and is striding out 5 feet is a pretty long stride length and that extra 2 feet per stride is causing problems from how the running looks to making just a couple steps make a several yard difference in the success or failure of a play which added in with the warping causes too small of a difference between a 2 yard loss and a 10+ yard gain which basically overpowers the big plays as a method of gameplan and makes ball control strategies worthless.
Great catch there man

I have been trying to get this addressed for a while so I hope someone sees your post or this comment from EA and looks into it. I don't know what it should be, but I can tell just by seeing it that it is not right.
Would be nice if player height factored into the length of stride as well!!!!

Should be interesting to see this in action in the videos!
yes the QB stiffness where it looks like he is stuck in the ocean looks gone which Cry me to sleep, makes me happy very very happy

I have thought for YEARS that EA would be well-served to just simply steal all of the old features from 2K and throw them into their games, and it sure sounds like this is going to happen this year (ESPN in NCAA, this right stick moves in Madden and NCAA, etc.)

Better half a decade late than never I guess, but PLEASE, don't call this "new"...the only thing "new" about it is the fact that its going to make Madden and NCAA play very differently for a few weeks to a month after release.
good point im also happy its here . however it got here.. I would like to see some competition though

True, I am beginning to see a next gen football game here. The lean and twist look really good. I am hoping that some rbs will navigate holes better. There were rumors that some 2k staff joined the Madden team either way the dual stick is adding on what 2k has done.
