Backbreaker For Sale on Saturday, Call Your Local Gamestops

I work at a Best Buy in Ohio and before I left work today I checked this "hot news" section on our employee computers and there was a note stating that the release date has changed for backbreaker and to put it out on 5/29 if you have it in stock. My store does not have it in yet and checked other stores in our district on the computer and none of them have it either, maybe we will get a Saturday shipment of them. But just letting you guys know that Best Buy is able to sell them if they have them in stock! Usually my best buy only gets the larger titles in before the release date, every other game we get in on UPS the day of the release.

Does online inventory work for this? I checked my stores online inventory and the store names were bold for BB.

Yea, I got the GS text earlier today for my pre-order...but I took my pre-order off the day RDR came out. I wonder if a copy still came in because of my original pre-order? Eh, I still don't want the game, anyway, because I still haven't played the demo. Maybe it will hit PSN THIS Tuesday and if I like it enough, I will get it.

This is great news. Now I will have an extended weekend to play the game. For only $50 bucks, the demo has proven that this game is worth my money. Football in May; you've got to love that.

If BB as well as Gamestop received notice that they could sell the game on the 29th I'm thinking Walmart may have gotten the memo too. Might be worth a check at midnight?

If you check inventory, and then go back to the product page, it will list the stores that have it in stock in the product page.

For example, when I do that, it's still in preorder mode, so from the store finder page you get no options, but then going back to the product page i get:

Store Pickup: Not Available
Find it at a Best Buy store.
HENDERSON NV - Available
SW LAS VEGAS NV - Available
MARYLAND PARKWAY NV - Available
Check more stores.

Not sure how reliable that is come tomorrow... but we'll see i guess.

might be worth it but I wouldnt bank on walmart employees getting or paying attention to that memo lol
