Madden NFL 11 Introduces Online Scouting

Replay Value? Do you honestly think this will make people play online more? There was a thread on here a few months ago asking people why they stopped playing online. 90% of the people said because of cheesers and glitchers. I don't recall anyone saying they stopped playing online because they didn't have a scouting report. The scouting report is not gonna fix glitches and the scouting report is not gonna stop cheesers so the 2 main reasons people don't play online still go unaddressed. When they find some way to stop the cheesers and glitchers, you'll start to see the online numbers increase. Until then, the online numbers will remain the same.

I think it helps by adding ways to find out what your opponents will do. Of course it would be more effective before a game (because of Gameplan), but during a game, it could tell you what your opponents have the tendency to do, thus allowing you to enter into your playbook and call plays based on your scouting report, which aids you in stopping whatever they're (cheesers/glitchers) doing. The scouting report feature won't fix the problem with chessers and glitchers, and of course at some points it becomes obvious, eliminated the need for a scouting report. That issue really is something that should be addressed and that aspect still remains to be seen. I gave you my opinion, not everyone else's opinion and I do think that the cheesing and glitching is one of the main things stopping me from playing Madden online; but aside from the benefit of playing a human competitor and earning a high winning record, what else is there to keep me playing?

Wait a minute, wait a minute. This thread is getting horribly off course lol. I want to debate this online scouting more before they close this thread lol.

To the new guy , J/K tlc, I'm fairly sure that no one is trying to haze you or anything lol. People are just giving their own opinion and in case you haven't noticed me and Odogg have been going back and forth quite a bit so don't think anyone is giving anyone passes. Me and MattIntellect had a few lines with each other as well. That's what we do. We debate. Don't take it so personal man. The same thing that happened to you, happens to me all the time. It's no big deal. I can promise you it'll happen again too. Let's just chill out and continue our discussion.

Now with all of that said, I am waiting for someone to tell me why they think the scouting is ok just the way it is. I want them to tell me why they feel that scouting, even though it's a part of the game of football, doesn't need to be in any other mode besides online head to head. I want them to tell me why they think it's ok for you to have to earn the right to scout. I want them to tell me why it's still useful even though you have to do it INSIDE of the game. This is what I'm waiting for because, from what I've seen, people are saying it will help with cheesers, but they aren't saying HOW it will help with cheesers. These are things that I would like to know because I can't see how anyone can defend this move. I absolutely love the feature, but I hate everything about the implementation. Everything from the fact that you use it in-game to the fact that you have to earn it to the fact that it's not in OF and so on. So, please someone, let me know why you guys are defending this so much.
