A lot of demo vids on youtube already but this one is nice - shows a good variety of KOs. Esp loved when Lashley stiffened up (first time I've seen this happen!) and the last KO..

Looks good to me!

I hope Fight Night is similar especially with the "rock" moment where u let your hands go to end the fight...

How cool would it be to get your opp against the ropes and finish him off via the ref stopping the fight

I kinda think 20 to 30 takedown attempts is a bit much. And this happens every fight, whether the opponent is Miller or Shields. But at least after a few more matches, I was able to defend against the majority of them. Which is good practice. I also need to learn the parry, havent executed that correctly just yet.

20 attempts is right for guys like Shields and Lashley. I played Reem vs Reem and the TDs were significantly less.

If it was 20 attempts in a fight I would be OK with that, but it's 20 attempts per round.

There are no FightMetric breakdowns for Shields or Lashley, so instead I took a look at the guys who like to spend the least time on their feet.

St-Pierre: Most takedown attempts in one fight (5 rounds) was 12.

Fitch: Attempted 11 takedowns vs Alves (3 rounds).

Matt Hamill: 12 attempts vs Bisping.

Based on reality wrestlers should be attempting takedowns at a rate of 3-4 per round. In the demo they're trying 3-4 per minute.

I'm not really bashing the demo, because I enjoy it and will probably pick up the game. But the takedown attempts need to be toned down by a lot. I've found myself keeping Lashley or Shields in the face-down position after a sprawl just to stretch out the time and lower the number of takedown attempts.

You have to take into account that when GSP or Fitch go for a takedown, they usually get it. Thereby limiting the time spent on the feet and opportunities to shoot for more takedowns.

If you look at the BJ Penn/Diego Sanchez fight from UFC 107 (http://blog.fightmetric.com/2010/08/...ic-report.html), you'll see that Diego attempted 27 takedowns over the course of 5 rounds, and didn't get one.
