Yeah the load times are a little annoying.

Do you guys have the game installed on your hard drive ? My load times is no longer then when I play NBA 2K11. But anyway just had my 1st lost in career mode, got caught in a takedown attempt and submitted.

I do like how the commentary talks about the history of fighters in career mode and in exhbition mode.

Played 2 online matches - lost
Played a quick fight and won

Started my Career, and went through the three tutorials with Bas.

A couple of things first, I purchased UFC 2009 and loved it, played the hec out of it, but have to say I was never comfortable with the ground game or initiating/defending submissions. I could just never get accustomed to the "Shine" or the full/half mount motions on the analogs. I purchased UFC 2010 and figured they would clean it up, and was still confused, so I traded it in after a month or so.

Now, EA MMA, is just plain easier for me to get a feel for what I am trying to do. I can see when someone is trying to advance position and defend it, I know what I am doing in the clench, it's just easier for me

I haven't paid much attention to the commentary, so I'll make sure to take note later. Or it could be simply that it's forgettable.

I like the different rules and ring layouts, it really adds alot of variety. Kicks to the head on the ground! Need I say more.

I'm also hoping that it won't be as difficult to attain moves as UFC 2010 was. There was just too much in the CAF there for me to make a planned path for what I wanted to do in there.

One thing that I do realize I miss that I wouldn't think I would is the UFC license. Thinking back I would primarily play Rampage, Rashad, Machida, Silva over and over again. I will also miss the classic fights and Joe Rogan announcing.

Beyond that I much prefer the gameplay of EA MMA to UFC, that's what matters. It's just no fun for me not being able to execute a fight plan, because I'm not sure I'm performing the button/analog sequences correctly.

one of the coolest features ever is the ability to watch peoples fights, if you go to leaderboard and select friends, you can watch your friends ranked fights. quik watched an **** 5 round war (which i lost) for one of the lhw titles and said that fight was as good as some fights he's seen on tv. this game continues to amaze

Head Stomping in my career in Brazil. I enjoyed this because he beat me during my second fight in Brazil. I won the rematch in convincing fashion.

Man, I'm on the fence on this one Gonna probably wait a few days and see if the hype is still there after the newness wears off.

Boy oh boy. Game is great. The fight engine utilized here is much better than UFCs. Very organic. I likes. EA did a commendable job with this title no doubt.
