Impressions post patch:

• Is there an home court advantage? It could be just me but I find that I am more likely to hit my good release shots early in the game at home then on the road. Could be just consistency rating which is default.
• Jump shot timing is different for some players and will most likely have you going back to practice mode to get it down. I play mostly offline and this is what I noticed first and I went into practice mode.
• The CPU cheap steals have been reduced basically the ones where they could have their head turned and know a pass was coming. I thought the CPU had a clear advantage on certain things stealing passes was one of them and certain things being scripted. Now I think the games plays much more evenly on Allstar SIM. I had some of the best games IE realisitic between user vs. user and user vs. CPU after the patch especially against the CPU it is noticable.
• Boxing out is very effective and realistic no more jet pack jumping. I had to lower vertical sliders before now back to normal.
• Fast breaks I can actually fast break now and it is a thing of beauty. Bad thing is some of your players run too close to the sideline and if you throw it to them you will get the bobbled pass that takes them out of bounds. This is still better than pre patch.
• The contact in the paint is very good the branching out of animations are a thing to see.
• Touchdown passes seem to be effective for the CPU though as I see them doing it occassionaly.
• I was waiting for this patch because I knew they would fix obvious basic gameplay issues before I started an Association and they did so in a major way for me.
• I read the My Player issues and I can see problems there running plays as I read most of the users complaints. Theey seem valid but I can't comment on that or the online issues as I don't really play online and haven't started a My Player yet.

SOUND GOING IN AND OUT AT CONSTANT RATE!!! I'm playing @ Charlotte and the crowd noise and stuff is going in and out. Sounds like I'm hitting the mute/unmute button on my remote every .2 of a second!!

EXTREMELY ANNOYING 2K!! I'm not feelin this patch for what it's done to the gameplay at all!! Only good that's come out of it is the generated draft classes are better, and the association issues. Myplayer "fixes" are subjective(I personally like the changes but alot of ppl don't).

2k seriously screwed this game up gameplay wise however! Commentary falling behind the game, and eventually not speaking at all! And causes game to hang op. And now THIS!! Really annoying and on the verge of giving up playing this game until another patch comes out to fix the mess the first patch created!

One minor issue

When the patch fixed the Around the League scores...they do tell accurate results and no longer show Jrue Holiday's face, but they don't show the actual scores of the game anymore!

Its the custom music glitch. Try turning off the PA Announcer for 1 minute and see what happens. Sometimes it shuts off the music totally in the whol game, even the menus.

I t use any custom music so it can't be that. I quit and saved the game, and came back to it and it was fine

This is an issue on PS3. That is why I hate buying 3rd party games on PS3.

Madden audio did the same on PS3 and it does the same for 2K on PS3

after patch on 360 there is no audio issue at all for me now or before.

Patch made the game way better. I dont play My Player and the audio works just fine on 360

Gameplay wise he game is 10x better after patch
