NCAA Football 12 Roster Glitch Confirmed, Patch to Address Concerns

That's just my theory of it and hopefully that is the case so no re-naming will be required.

Yeah the issue only really comes into play when you play the CPU and the way it handles it's players. I'm still enjoying the game, yes the tendencies are not correct for the most part but it's still a fun game to play, just hope the patch is out soon!!

Well I like your theory and I'm sticking to it. I sure hope that is the case. It's all so frustrating because if all of this were not an issue, we'd all be on here singing praises about the game... or we might not be on here at all because we're all playing the game.

I think they program in C++. If so, wouldn't they be using "if then" statements? I haven't done C++ in over a year but if that is the case it should be a relatively easy fix. Again, I could be way off base here.

This never seemed to be a problem in the past so I wonder what was done differently. They have to have used the same code for the past few years.

Every position just about has 3 tendancies. (not sure if punters and kickers do) The bug is that is flip flops 2 of these, reverses them. The 3rd one stays the same. Example
QB 3 Tendancies, Balanced, Pocket Passer, Scrambler
Once you edit them or if you recruit one of these you will get this.
Scrambler turns into Balanced
Balanced turns into Scrambler
Pocket Passer will remain Pocket Passer

Offensive linemen has 3 types
Balanced, Pass Blocker, Run Blocker
Balances and Pass Blocker will swap but Run Blocker will always stay run blocker

It goes on like that for every position, WR a Possession is the constant the other 2 swap.

HB the Power HB will stay the same the other 2 will swap.

It is consistant thats what makes me think a programer swapped a number around and it reversed them

From a PR standpoint, EA is doing a TERRIBLE job. If this were my company, I would offer a public apology, explain what happened, and what they are doing to fix it...and if possible give a time table. Then make the comish pack for ODs and whatever jerseys free to the public. We already paid 65 dollars for a half made game, this is really the least they could do IMO. This is really pathetic, every single part of this game seems to be broken. Its an absolute joke that everytime I boot up make game I hear bens fat *** speaking about watching "Making OF ncaa football 12". Yeah, I would love to see those videos ben. Why don't you show us how your entire team turned a blind eye to all of these problems, or was it just straight negligence? Either way, it looks terrible for you as a company. Fortunately for you, the majority of your cliental is too naive to notice, and the rest are too obsessed with cfb video games.
