NBA 2K12 Patch 1.04 Available Now - Post Impressions Here (PS3, 360)

So just a quick question here. I see a lot of PS3 guys saying they love the patch, but a lot less with the 360.

What's the deal here? Really curious to know because if it's playing better on the ps3 I'm jumping ship and trading in my 360 copy.

I'm on PS3 and I really loved this patch. A huge step in the right direction. A few odd things still happens with the cpu(every once in a while they still make a no look instant reaction play, but its way way less, and passing much better)but the 2 games I have played through were the most enjoyable yet. Now I am very happy with my 2k12 purchase. before I kinda wished I had just played 2k11 and saved my $60. I don't know why but everything felt smoother and more responsive. nyway, I'll take what ever they did cause its a huge thumbs up from me.

I have the patch for ps3 and see some improvements, there is still a long way to go. Dwight wouldn't even get the ball for most of the first quarter when I played the Magic. (i guess sometimes that happens in real life but jameer doing spin moves in the paint and not shooting mid range jumpers is beyond me). Also there are issues with fast break on all star default. Catch up speed is awful and you'll have a hard time getting a nice dunk with a guy like DRose on a steal. Also teams like the thunder spend way too much time getting set up, they run down way too much of the clock. Also one on one play is terrible. You will have a hard time blowing by a bench warmer with westbrook or rose let alone finish at the rim. The good news is that the computer AI is trying a little harder to play a little more realistic. Bad news tha AI on your team is still pretty dumb.

Online is a different story. Much easier to lead pass in the lane and people will abuse that. Just feels unpolished in so many ways. Defense is terrible for guarding the paint but yes people will miss more shots in the paint yet others such as Griffin will be dominant at times. When I had Dwight he couldn't do anything with Kaman's blocking ability and amazing defense.

There is just something missing...to me at least.

Any particular reason 2K isn't prompting me with the option of downloading the patch? All it prompted me to do was download the roster updates.

Why would they reset the online records???

BTW......they didn't. Which is a good thing.
