MLB 12 The Show Video - Exclusive Look at Diamond Dynasty (GameTrailers)

Watched the preview on TV this morning before I left for work and I must say that the game looked smooth. Im not sure if it was my TV or not but the overlays and player movements looked great.

I definitely love the Logo creator. If it is anything like the Forza creator as Russ alluded to in another thread, I will be in heaven.

This year I was going to wait until the full minor league rosters came out before I bought this, but building the Cleveland Steamers is just too much fun to pass up. Is there any word on whether we can use custom MLB teams in franchise mode? I'm guessing that there probably isn't a stadium editor, but is there anything stopping me from using the Polo Grounds as my home field?

+1 I think I may use diamond dynasty to pass time until Knights rosters drop.

Perhaps DLC license? Classic stadiums needed to be bought in 10 & 11.

I'd be happy if the mode didn't include known players at all, just random, unknown players...maybe after certain time in service they can go to a global free agency or make trades with other DD teams...just so much they can do with this. Would also be cool to import your RTTS players into your DD. Argh, game, get here now!

I didn't think of the Classic Stadiums when we were there.
I hope so.

But....nice to see NICK on there!
....and man....they didn't even scratch the surface of this mode....and we didn't get to see it that much while we were there.

Those logos look like they were made from scratch.
Like I said in another thread, I seriously doubt that you can import anything into the creator as that would open up SCEA for some serious trademark/copyright infringement problems and they don't want to go there I'm sure. You can see him dropping in one of the letters into the GTV logo, so they were creating that.
When the blog on DD drops.....you guys will see how interesting this mode is!

While I'd love to have the option of simply uploading stuff (to save time creating what I cannot create with my skills), but Sony probably takes copyright stuff seriously enough that they probably won't allow us to do it... Last year I was tying to upload various Hello Kitty pics (my default when I cannot think of any) as my avatar for online, which kept getting rejected. I don't see it loosening up for DD.
