@KJ, C'mon man, you are making it seem like that was an entire post unto its' self when it was posted with other stuff for complete context and even then I stated they claim. By your own admission, we don't know enough about no psychic DBs, 25 different pass trajectory zones, etc, so it doesn't make sense, imo, to "go in" on what they are not even claiming to have addressed/fixed in that video, before we know IF they have actually fixed/addressed what they claim.

@Phobia, I am not suggesting you turn a blind eye, I am suggesting it's better for us to focus on/discuss what they claim to have fixed/addressed and whether that's the case, before we start focusing on/discussing why other things were not. That seems to be putting the cart before the horse, imo.

I don't understand how they can have receiver route running animations and not add the DB's having momentum in their reactions and turning. Seeing a receiver run his route and have a DB automatically turn and run with him is just disgusting and pointless. Having a receiver run a really sick route is pointless if DB's just snap into position.

Also I don't understand how they did the passing game over but didn't add the qb throwing styles like Madden has. Hopefully I'm wrong and they did, but in the video I didn't see any indication of it. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Some more thoughts.......

1. Is the drop back system scripted automatic or is it ratings based ? As in a low awareness QB would be prone to dropping back too short or too long for the designed passing play ?

2. Is the QB roll out ratings based ? As in some QBs are more prone to rolling out to extend the play then other QBs ? Not only that, but do they roll out based off the direction the pressure is coming from ? It would suck if they only rolled out to one side only majority of the time.

3. If during the roll out and no WR get open, will the QB just take off and scramble or will he just force a ball down field regardless ?

4. Will a CPU QB throw pump fakes this year ? That is something the CPU QB never do. It would be perfect for them to do it this year to take full advantage of the read & react defense.

IMO the next evolution for football video games is to make players prone to messing up. CPU plays too perfect. It lacks that HUMAN factor. I will like to see a low awareness player do the wrong drop back sometimes, run the wrong route sometimes, you know stuff like that.

That way it would be real life penalties for playing with a team with a lot freshmen and sophmore starters vs playing with a team with juniors and seniors. As it is now, you can knock out the starter senior QB, freshmen QB comes in and NOTHING changes. He performs just as good as a senior even though his ratings is piss poor.

Hopefully they addressed that this year as well.
