Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I wouldn't completely give up on the game after a 4 min video.
Agreed. The video was pretty "meh", but I would like to see more and actually play the game myself before making a final judgement. Heck, even if they aren't sandbagging and what we're seeing here is what we're getting, then it's still worth the $45 pre-order to me. Especially with the Studio Updates, Mock Drafts and other Dynasty improvements. I'm sure that I've paid more and enjoyed worse games.

I hope the CPU QB uses them as well. Reminds me of the all new dive catch animations last year. CPU never did them. So if you were a coach mode player or simply a person who didn't user catch, you never got to see them.

So I'm hoping the CPU QBs use the new trajectories, shovel passes, play action interrupts as well. But then again.......the CPU QB don't ever throw pump fakes either or put a man in motion just to put a man in motion.

I don't understand how anyone can defend this. If it didn't say NCAA 13 I would have thought it was 12. That was terrible. Lifeless crowd, terrible commentary, and the same stale gameplay from the looks of this video. I haven't played it so I can't say 100% on the gameplay. From this video it looks exactly like 12.

I just played a game of NCAA 04. I think I'm in love. What a great game.

I'm glad I have Season Pass as I am really eager to put the final version through its paces before I buy. I want the game to be good. I've been playing it for more than a decade, and have gotten plenty of enjoyment out of the series—even most versions this gen. The problem is, some years (like '05, '09, '12 for me), I find the game to be shoddy and can't look past a handful of its new flaws or subtractions from a previous iteration.

Like others have said, this video doesn't do a very good job showing off the improvements we've heard about. I'm almost wondering if this is promotional material from an earlier build. Sometimes that stuff needs to be approved well in advance of its release. I'd taken an improved NCAA '12, but I need more than what I've seen. The cpu AI and audio presentation still lag behind the efforts of last-gen. It has been mentioned several times, but I want to see the AI run a spread option or old-fashioned option running game. If it's still as inept as it has been this whole gen I think I'll pass on the game for the first time since the PSX.

Looks like a smoother NCAAF12 with new pass trajectories and drop backs. Im disappointed by that vid hopefully its a early build.

1:10 How many coaches would call for a dime or nickel package when the offense comes out with 2 WRs and 2 TE? Nobody does that, calling a 4-3 base defense is normal and smart. Further evidence? Only the strongside and middle linebacker blitzed, the weakside LB stayed back meaniing it was obviously a blitz play-call and the CBs follow the WRs routes instead of running straight for the RB.

1:48 Seems pretty normal, come out with 3 WRs and the defense combats that with a nickel package.

2:19 it's 3rd and 6, meaning you could either pass or run but most likely pass and you come out with 3 WRs...well of course the defense is gonna come out in a nickel.

3:01 again, 2 TE 2 WR don't you think the defense will run their base 4-3 package?

3:30 again 3 WRs vs a nickel.

The dude using USC just sucks, simple as that...or he was purposely playing poorly because he wanted to prolong the only drive he's allowed to show.

There were so many WRs wide open kill Oregon's zone, doesn't sound like a team that's psychic to me.
I'm referring only to the reaction of the linebackers and safeties at the instant of the snap. I've been on a soap box for some time now about the need to implement a TRUE read-and-react system across the board for all defenders throughout the play (not just for anyone defending a pass). It's like putting new shingles on your house and saying you completely remodeled it.

Anyways, I agree that the defense doesn't necessarily know your play pre-snap (although I do think we'll start to hear that from people again).

What I'm saying is that the LBs don't read-and-react. There is a video proving this from last year's game. The LBs drop into pass coverage every time you call a pass play. They drop instantly on the snap. They don't do this on run plays. The infamous video from last year showed all LBs drop into pass coverage instantly on the snap on play-action. That is what I'm referring to.
