I gotta say, Oline pulling logic seems to have improved a lot. I have seen them kick out guys on toss and, if they do not find any one to block, I have seen them continue to climb to the second level and wreak a FS. Also, seeing some great down field blocking by my WRs. Had a long td run set up by a perfect block from my WR.

I just played a Heisman game and USC v Oregon

Player movement is much better

The game looks a little better

The touch passing is nice. I threw a pass on a corner route that couldn't be done before.

Jukes and Spins actually work

Play action has a chance of working

I'm not very good without my custom playbooks.

Run blocking feels pretty good

I didn't notice pressure only being in my face.

If you get the defender to turn his hips you got em (true to life)

Real quick...I know I am posting a lot in this thread...hitch routes actually work. This is great.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Demo Is Out, Post Your Impressions Here

Just finished my first game, Bama at LSU, won 35 - 10. Regarding presentation, the bottom bar should have been added years ago, it looks really good and ties the screen together imo, it caught me by surprise by how nice it is. Other than that, the presentation felt meh, basically the same cutscenes and intro, the studio updates were ok but I'll probably take one look at the teams and score then skip it. Commentary sounded as stale as ever. The replays were flat out annoying.. if I wanted to watch it again I'd pause and use highlights or the replay feature

There were still the same little annoyances present like the ridiculous looking running motion, getting stuck on blockers, unresponsive buttons at times (like trying to skip replays, and twice where I jumped offsides trying to pinch the dline using RS down), nobody on the sidelines, same old repetitive stale commentary, etc.

As far as gameplay it honestly felt like a smoother NCAA 12. There was 1 HB screen where the defender just waltzed past my blockers like in the past and another. I noticed that the WRs caught EVERY jump ball, I got burned by a hailmary using prevent defense where their guy caught it in triple coverage then ran 20yds for the score, might have been a fluke but it didn't look good. Didn't see any super LBs thank god but the line interaction is still terrible. A few times where I didn't control a DT or DE or blitz, the QB just sat back in the pocket for days. Like I said the running motion is horrible, I've never seen a RB run standing straight up like that. Also the control was too sensitive like usual, could turn on a dime. DBs looked like 2nd graders a few times too, once an LSU WR caught a pass while my DB ran out of bounds.

Overall it was ok, just as I expected it to be, not much and similar to last year's debacle. I'm definitely going to play more, probably won't even touch the heisman thing though

The last possible suggestion is to turn off your 360, turn it back on and look for it then. I found it and began downloading it in about 30 seconds.

On the other hand, if you're using a PS3: it's not out until tomorrow.

Gameplay was great. Commentating terrible - saying that I needed to change the gameplan when I called a timeout when the clock went down. Reece said some of the same things too many times. Crowd sounded like it does on tv which I think was their goal. Ticker was excellent, got caught looking at the score alert when I was dropping back for a pass. Love the new passing but it takes some practice and is sensitive if you go too far in one direction but that was nice and accurate. I think ill buy it and mute the commentary. Pretty much like 12.5 repairing the bugs but next years could be magnificent.
