While I'm aware VC is developing this game again, what's stopping 2K from contracting Konami to develop an MLB version of Pro Baseball Spirits? Haven't they done this before with MLB Power Pros?

It would be the fact that 2K would not want to spend money on a baseball game if it sold numbers like The Show.

There is a way to make money on baseball games, but it is going to take a new company to not only get a good deal from MLB, but release a game that doesn't instantly get attacked because of what the franchise was like 4 years ago.
