NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls

The reach ins must have to do with the reach in slider wich must have been set too high by 2K. I know when I play offline I always have the slider at 0 because I can't take it. It definately can drive me nuts at times.

Hi guys, so I joined this forum because all the questions I've had about 2K13, I always seem to find the answer on one of your threads. I do have another question now, and I hope you guys understand my question.

How do you do the pump fake and go move? Like you pump fake a defender in the air and when he's out of position, you run into the open lane for a dunk or layup? I did this once by mistake and I've been trying to do it but I don't know how. I think I was trying to throw an alley-oop to my teammate but ended up doing this. Anyone have any idea how to do this?

I'd like to help you but I really don't see it. Why don't you just 'pump fake and run into the open lane'? I don't think there is one particular thing to do. Sorry I'am really not sure what you mean.

Thing is, after I pump fake, my player seems to be frozen to the spot. I can't move. I have to either pass from that spot or shoot.

Oh. Well that's because when you pump fake you pick up your dribble. If you where to move your pivot foot after that it would be a traveling violation. To pump fake and go you have to do it before dribbling while in tripple threat stance.

Can you not choose the type of dunks anymore? Is it random now?

I was thinking about that the other day, you used to be able to choose between dunks. Like left and RT was flashy dunk, right was powerfull etc.

Now it seems that you can only do a random dunk or a reversed.

Sometimes you will catch the ball and pump fake but the game thinks you already dribbled even though you didnt because the game started the animation.
