I downloaded all, sent it to background, and it's downloading the Main Game first for me.

The game still needs to install itself on your HDD. That will take some time with a file this size.

Is this the first year a MLB show title is up for full digital download for ps3? I have disc already but considering a digital download right now if it really makes a difference when playing the game

FYI the times we see to complete download are just estimates based on download speed.

I assume this means you've noticed some issues with the disc copy version of the game?
