All EA has confirmed is that each box comes with a code. Every package would have to come with a code rather or not people were eligible. Most likely you will have to click a box and give a wink and a nod that you cannot get DirectTV at your home to be able to use the code. This is why it is all worded so funny.

Ah, there is the real news. Not that there is a code in every box that can possibly be blocked later or cause you a ton of hassle to get the deal, but EA saying you will definitely get access. That is what everyone has been dying to know, not just that there is a code.

^^There you have it folks, there should be no more questions about "I live where I can get Directv but don't want it, do I have to get it?" Answer is no. Digital will work for everyone.
