Hmmm

I'm thinking this may be because of my disc? It's very loud in my drive, none of my others are, and I deleted it and tried to reinstall and now it just keeps freezing, and took like 40 minutes to install the last 2 minutes.

I'm gonna exchange it and see what happens

Keep the impressions coming, good and bad and lets all do our part to help make sure we get to have many more years of great football gaming!
JP is right, all of your impressions help us gather the feedback to deliver the game that you want and deserve.

Is the CPU still calling timeouts at 1:01? Also how is the late game AI play calling?

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)

It's great that there is seemingly a preponderance of good first impressions with the game.

I would honestly be more interested to hear the impressions a month or two down the road, once everybody has a chance to garner more experience with the game and begin to take note of the finer details, both good and bad. Perhaps there could be another thread later on with such thoughts posted.

Heck, even the Gatorade time outs in CG M25 were no big deal to me early on, until I saw them for the 500th time....

I am particularly interested in hearing about CFM immersion factor and gameplay balance, as these are the features that keep me coming back for more.

I am admittedly surprised to hear such good feedback so far and look forward to hearing more. The only reason for me to buy a PS4 would be if this game delivers the goods.

Same here. If we keep hearing good things, I might spend the money on a PS4. Just like you, I'd like to hear more about CFM immersion (sim stats, CPU roster AI, progression balance, etc, etc) and game balance. Sounds like the CPU AI during gameplay may have improved.

I really wish the precision modifier was an option that could be turned on or off like the vision cone used to be.

It makes no sense to have the success of all special moves dependent on whether or not you're holding down a trigger button.

Let the player ratings and the pursuit angles determine when special moves will work, not some arbitrary button.

More impressions:

Actually very impressed with the gameplay! Used to be my biggest gripe and I am not seeing the same AI issues from years past. Running game on the higher difficulties is very enjoyable as you really have to work for yardage and be patient following your blockers.
