Something to think about:

If the ps4 is really selling that much more than xbox one, i think i saw someone say twice as much, and that definitely wasn't the case last gen. Then that would mean potentially more people have the opportunity to buy the Show, which would lead to an increase in the Show sales presumably, at least in a few years when most people finally make the jump to next gen. This of course would mean more profits for Sony/SCEA then they were making last gen.

Right?

Didn't they also downgrade the stadium graphics somewhat in '13? Also didn't they cut back on some things things like the movement of the clouds and stadium flags?

You really think the park is bad aesthetically? I've always felt it was one of the more beautiful parks in baseball, from an on-the-field perspective. That wall (the arches and "windows") in left-center is beautiful, and the design of the background/seats in center & right-center are equally awesome.

Now if they would just do something about that ridiculously stupid anthill...

Right?
Maybe, but the sales of the PS4 have nothing to do with it selling more than xbox one. What if Microsoft ships/produces way less than Sony does. Who knows if PS4 sales will sustain at the level they are at. They do look good now though.

Looking back, not sure how accurate these numbers are the PS3 sold around 3.6 mil by March 31, 2007. It sold 4.32 mil by June 30.

If we go to the 2nd year of the PS3 it sold about 12.85 by March 31, 2008. Which would be the 2nd year of the Show on PS3. http://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/PlayStation_3

So far by the end of last year it was reported that PS4 sold about 4.2 mil. That's a pretty big advantage over even March 31st 2007 number with 3 less months. So one would guess that the PS4 would surpass the 1st year totals (12.85) of the PS3 by March 2015 http://www.forbes.com/sites/sap/2014...than-xbox-one/

But in the end I think its less to do about how many PS4 copies they sell, but how many PS4 vs PS3 copies they sell. If more people are buying the game on PS3 they're probably less likely to move over to PS4 as fast.

I don't necessarily think this is true, but something happened. Just look at the retired numbers or out of town scoreboards in Miller Park, they're low res and ugly. It may have been a mistake though. I'm not sure.

I think they tried to go for being outstanding, and they nailed it. Do I think it's ugly? Not exactly. I just think it's random and weird. I love when the Giants play there, I just "don't get it" is all. The anthill, what? I love that it's there and it's super unique, but of some of the things they'd think to put in a baseball stadium, an escape route would have been the last of my thoughts haha.
