OK - Here is a 9 hole video of me playing a created course with no aids turned on, except wind meter and view of general location of landing.

I hope that their will be different records, and leader boards for the hardcore settings. Nothing worse than people going the cheap way to get better scores in a competitive setting.

Great stuff Bob. It looks like it's getting more and more smoothed out.

How exactly are you reading the greens? Hard to see the curves on the green at youtube resolution in a small window with a piss-poor connection LOL.

It's actually not that hard when playing the game Dan - just like in real life, sometimes you read it wrong. You then stare at the screen and say "Damn, I thought it was breaking the other way"

Try putting the video at 720P Dan, see if that helps -

Pretty sure I read they are working on a way to prevent that.

Here is a breakdown of some of the stuff they changed in build 3 -

1) We've tweaked driving and putting - making it a little harder
2) We've taken out the aim marker, you can only now aim from behind the golfer. You can also only move it Left and Right
3) We've fixed a big issue that we found with NVida graphics drivers which meant that a few of their cards were generating courses differently to other cards
4) loads of bugs and optimizations

Honestly. even though you are aiming behind your golfer, I see you can still zoom in and see the general area, I mean it still kind of shows where you are going to hit it.. I would like the option (I guess you could just not zoom in) to turn off the zoom completely. I can tell how you are aiming based on the golfer body so I think it wouldn't be unrealistic at all.

The option to shut the zoom off completely is in the game Bleeding, but I didn't realize that until after I shot the video.
