I'd have to think that it's almost 100% that the new commentary is in last gen. I can't imagine it (other than the sheer volume of audio laid down) not being able to simply be "ported" (?) into the old systems. It's not like it has anything to do with graphical fidelity.

This feature list is fantastic and they have had a year and a half to implement all of this. They better get it right and make it a truly next gen and authentic/realistic experience. I can't wait.

Fix the online franchise mode please. NHL 13 was so terrible I didn't buy NHL 14. Probably the first NHL game I didn't buy since its inception.

The sheer amount of lines record it make it impossible to harness with the old system. I think, anyway.
