Well I did finish 18 holes online without interruption. On the positive side I did better than terrible. On the negative side my "ghosts" foes had an easy time. This was on the medium difficulty Yuma Desert Course.

really frustrated with the putting, especially long putts. There's just no rhyme or reason to it. I'm either drilling them a mile long, or way too short. Just impossible to really tell what do to with putting.

any tips?

- The game is not too easy. The one complaint is that it's too easy to hit the ball straight, but I've played a few rounds so far and I'd guess my fairway % is no higher than 60.

- The commentary is awful, the rest of the sounds are awesome. Turn off the commentary.

- The gameplay is fine, but putting and chipping feel wonky and loose to me.

- Course designer is really pretty cool, but I'm hoping that at some point they will give us more freedom in terms of layouts and really going crazy with it.

- If this game could ever get online tournaments together (with a ranking system, perhaps?), I think it would be an absolute blast. Still, lots of potential here. Hope the game does well.
Two things

1) if you think this looks like golden tee, xbone must look ugly. My pc looks beautiful the closer you get.

2) course designer allows a ton of freedom since the release of new shaping tools. You can design your own fairway, rough, hills, etc. There's no limitations. We do need more objects, themes.

Kind of wish they had a putting range..or at least the ability to create one.

This is getting ridiculous now. I can't get through a round, let alone the front 9 even without being disconnected. Then I reconnect, it says I can resume, but there's no option to do so anywhere? I'm about ready to loose it... Surely there has to be a resume option hiding somewhere? any tips yet again?

Had a few issues when I first fired it up this morning but nothing since. Ran pretty flawless for me

I'm afraid it is the Xbox. BleedingRed said what I was thinking this morning. When I am about 6 feet away it looks good but not great. A few times I was doing a long putt and could see jaggies in the distance where the green blends.

It's not a deal breaker but it definitely isn't a gem in the graphics dept..

The only other thing I can suggest is that the maximum force of the putter seems to be 101 feet on a perfectly level green. This remains constant even for a one foot putt. They're giving you a realistic "force feel" to work with. The other big thing is to hit it "square" so it doesn't veer left or right of where you intend. Keep in mind you're not getting this tip from Arnold Palmer.

I saw the option one time and it let me resume. It was the first time I lost connection earlier today. I could swear the "RESUME GAME" appeared on the main menu above "PLAY" replacing "TEE-OFF". That bit of info isn't going to help much until they fix this issue. It's a current complaint on The Golf Club forums.
