I was also able to get more green releases from mid-range shooting with LeBron. However, it was more rare say with a 70 overall who was just above average at those ratings.

Patch 4 didn't fix green releases, there was nothing to fix. Instead 2K tweaked it so it became common to see any player make a green release. For instance, a player rated 40 in mid range can get just as many green releases and the best player in the game at mid-range.
If you ever played on hof Sim you would know that over 70% of players were unable to get green releases

I cannot speak for HoF/Sim. However this was not an issue on SS/Sim and under. Furthermore, you're playing on HoF/Sim. You shouldn't be able to get green releases as other lower difficulties do, nor should that call for a major overhaul in all modes and all difficulties in shooting. HoF is HoF for a reason and that's not an excuse for changing the whole system of shooting, affecting more people in a bad way rather than a good way.

Still no word from 2K on draft class auto generate. I would also like to know. I doubt that can be fixed without a patch anyways to match roster ratings.

Have you played since the update man?

If not, why not just play and see if it improves your experience.? No use in going on about the possibility of it not working if you haven't experienced it....

Last question about editing MyLeague roster; can I globally edit the ratings, or do I have to go player-by-player?

Heading home now to DL the roster and play some NBA Today games.

Have to ask...Did you even use the Pacers? They were one of the teams who had quite a few glitched jumpers. Before the patch, Rudez was my best perimeter shooter. Post-patch, I feel that I can score and shoot enough with anyone to make the defense honest.

A global adjustment of -8 points doesn't make sense to me. They should have lowered by a specific percentage instead, that's more fair and makes more sense. Maybe 10% since that's what was adjusted in the patch.

So they update the roster now because of the Patch, now you know the Patch was a mistake. This is a bandaid fix ...
