I've never said the graphics were "poor", but I have said they were grainy. I would expect them to look grainy after playing the game at 1080p on the other two platforms, and they do. Sadly though, the XB1 version also lags behind the PS4 version in frame rate, by a factor of between 10 to 15%, which weighs in heavily when the frame rates dip below 30 FPS.
On a good display of smaller size, the XB1 version probably looks better than what I'm seeing. I play it on a 60" LED display, which makes the low resolution look even grainier. It doesn't help that on some of the more desirable courses, I feel handicapped by a frame rate that's dipping well into the low 20s to the point that it's adversely affecting my swing.
Once we get the expected bump to 900p in the May update, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get a better handle on what I'm taking about, hopefully in terms of resolution AND frame rate. It's been reported that HBS have been working with the new XB1 SDK and are improving its performance in terms of frame rate as well.
