It doesn't look pretty, but Eli actually throws on the run quite well. Under Gilbride, the offense was predicated on a downfield, vertical attack. LOTS of play action. Consequently, many of these play action plays were bootlegs requiring Eli to roll to his right and throw on the run accurately. One of the best displays of this was in the 2007 season week 17 game against New England, where he rolled out to the right and hit Burress for a TD on the sideline. There are other moments like in that same season where he had a rushing TD against Miami in London where he looked like a turtle trying to sprint to the end zone lol. Anyway, on topic, I think the madden team has some more work to do on the QB movement, and player movement in general needs that major breakthrough kind of like what the NBA Live team did.
