It is ethical, it's called a change of heart. He decided he didn't want to go to Dallas and wanted to stay in LA. What's wrong with that?

A couple of things.

1. He didn't just change his heart. He completely avoided Cuban and Parsons. That's bush league. Man up and tell them you changed your mind.

2. It's a unique circumstance, but again we aren't talking about John Doe working at Marketing Industry. His decision affects a ton of people (ticket owners, other free agents, etc.).

The thing that's most annoying is that if Dallas would have been the ones to pull out of the deal, the NBPA would have been all over them.
It's whatever, though. Just another reason to not like the Clippers.

Nothing!! It's not like the LeBron situation a few years back. His tv show is what caused most of the hate he got. I'm pretty sure he won't lose any sleep with his new contract $$$.....

What he did was nowhere near unethical, he did it the wrong way though. Nobody knows the full story but some reports have said there was other stuff going on with DJ's agent being friends with Cuban and pushing him to Dallas and also that DJ was told by some people around him to not contact Cuban after he started talking to the Clips again. Are you saying he should make what will probably be the biggest decision of his career based on ticket sales and other players?

Yep I will forever hate Lebron for the Decision. I don't care if he raised 2 million for that local boys and girls club. He is the greatest NBA in my generation (never got to see Jordan play in his prime only in '03 with the Wiz) and is probably making over 50 million a year. He could have donated some that money if that is a reason behind it. There is nothing wrong that. I genuinely believe that is was his agent pushing hard for Dallas because of his relationship with Cuban. And that the more he thought about it the more he wanted to stay in LA.

I'm saying he should face the consequences of his decisions. He didn't face the consequences of his first or second decision. The definition of being an adult, which Jordan did not do.

But what should those consequences be? He'll get booed every time he plays in Dallas but beyond that there should be no repercussions. He's allowed to change his mind just like anyone else. He didn't sign anything and doesn't owe you or anyone else anything other than Mark Cuban an apology.
