These are not deal breakers at all. The flow of the game is more important than stopping it every 10 seconds for a nudge.

I do play football twice a week and have done so for many years, so not sure where you're heading with that assumption... If you like Fifa, good for you. I also like it for certain aspects and actually preferred FIFA last year to PES. I just think Konami have really improved PES this year base don the demo.

To each their own I suppose...
I know it's possible to reduce the speed but -2 is slow motion and -1 was slightly better than 0. What I mean is the run and gun Ping Pong style of the game. There are simply no interruptions. I always thought PES stands for simulation but PES 5-7 unfortunately is a long time ago. Adam Bhatti and Konami talk too much and change nothing regarding gameplay. They add new faces, that's it. They won't change the fouls because they didn't last year and I honestly think it's way too late for that. The few fouls feed the casuals and that might be the the concept behind PES. Missing fouls are a deal breaker for sure. Imagine Basketball without free throws OMG! Just my 2 cents.

Fun to watch this. My only argument is sometimes the pass accuracy seems a little low (maybe just for the human team, hah jk) In the inter-milan milan is 5% lower than their average for last season and napoli is almost 20% lower. It is hard trying to find that balance. Sometimes I feel like in the FIFA 14 they struggle too much to link just a few passes together, ha. Though that may just be an opinion. Like I said so hard to find that balance but we can definitely agree that PES 2016 is a little too high right now (also hard to judge with only the few teams that we have).

In PES 2016 I do find they pass into space if they are playing the ball down the wings but in the middle they almost never do (this is true to real life but maybe not to the extreme of PES). Just watching Man U today and all of thier passes in the middle are almost directly to the player receiving it.

Anyway just some more thoughts as I patiently await these games to come out!!

This is a game i posted where I edited both teams fluid formations so they get back on D and hold their shape better. I think I counted 18 passes intercepted in the middle of the pitch with many more takeaways. In other words TONS of change of possession. This little change will make a huge difference on the gameplay and give you more of that feel you want. Less of just one team possessing then shooting then the next. More change of possession in midfield BUT the teams are still skilled enough to hold possession and build and attack. Check it out and let me know what you think. The demo on default formations is awful for this, it is so easy to pass through the midfield straight to your striker.

Definitely not perfect but i think much better than without the changes. Also the first half is normal speed and second is -1.

Thanks mate but I've already deleted the demo because it's no fun to play the game in the current state imho. Too many things are broke. The game is totally irrelevant for me because of the missing fouls. Maybe I'll give it another try after release and positive reviews. But I think that won't happen. Last year the difference between the demo and the final build was a huge letdown. Literally they changed nothing. I guess I'll give Fifa a try or skip both football games this year.

I've been playing the demo on PS4 and might be missing it but where do you go to change the speed setting? Thanks

After you've started up the match pause game and go to settings and I think it's game settings. Imo -1 is a lot better than default speed

So I downloaded loaded the JP demo and played a few matches and it seems slightly different not sure if I am seeing things. Actually had a match with 5 fouls called, two against me and 3 against the CPU, I think it might have been a fluke especially since 1 of the fouls should have been at least a yellow card.

Re: PES 2016 Demo Available Now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

I've played the Fifa 16 pro clubs beta and the gameplay really doesn't feel that different from Fifa 15 imo. Still pretty pacey and fast paced gameplay that Fifa is known for.

I then tried the new pes 2016 demo and there's no comparison to Fifa. So much smoother and slower gameplay, which is what I love. It just felt so good and was a lot of fun to play, even with the fouls problem.

I'll be buying pes this year for sure.
